🔵 SLDTA – Terms & Conditions

1. General

  1. SLDTA (Sayantan Lodh Dog Training Academy) provides dog training, behaviour correction, walking, boarding & training, socialisation, and other pet-care services.
  2. By booking any service, the client agrees to all terms listed below.
  3. SLDTA reserves the right to accept or reject any booking based on availability, safety, or behavioural concerns.

2. Payment Policy

  1. All payments must be made to the official SLDTA account / UPI: 9774947714 (Sayantan Lodh).
  2. 100% payment must be completed before the first training session.
  3. Monthly packages cannot be split or partially paid.
  4. No session will be scheduled or conducted without full payment.
  5. Prices may change without prior notice.

3. Training Sessions

  1. Each training session lasts between 45–60 minutes depending on the dog’s progress and behaviour.
  2. Pet parents must ensure:
    • The dog is healthy and vaccinated.
    • The dog is not aggressive towards humans (unless aggression training is booked).
    • A collar/harness and leash are ready before the trainer arrives.
  3. The trainer may end a session early if the dog shows extreme stress, fear, sickness, or aggression.

4. Session Cancellation & Rescheduling

  1. Clients must inform SLDTA at least 24 hours beforehand to reschedule a session.
  2. Sessions cancelled without 24-hour notice will be marked as completed.
  3. Maximum of 2 reschedules allowed per monthly package.
  4. If the trainer arrives and the dog/owner is unavailable, the session will be counted as completed.

5. Monthly Packages

  1. Monthly packages (8 sessions / 12 sessions etc.) must be completed within the same month.
  2. Unused sessions will not be carried forward.
  3. Monthly packages cannot be paused unless due to a genuine medical emergency with proof.

6. Behaviour & Safety

  1. The pet parent must disclose all behavioural issues (biting, food aggression, fear, past incidents, heat cycle, etc.) before training.
  2. SLDTA is not responsible for:
    • Injuries caused by a dog’s aggression.
    • Sudden behavioural changes.
    • Dog fights caused by negligence of people around.
  3. Parents must supervise children during training.

7. Results & Guarantee

  1. No dog trainer can guarantee 100% results.
  2. Training success depends on:
    • Consistency by pet parents.
    • Daily practice.
    • Following instructions correctly.
    • The dog’s nature, breed, age, and health.
  3. SLDTA guarantees professional guidance, not results.

8. Boarding & Training Terms (If Applicable)

  1. The dog must be vaccinated and dewormed.
  2. SLDTA is not liable for:
    • Minor injuries during play.
    • Stomach upset due to diet changes.
    • Loss or worsening of existing health issues.
  3. Fees include training and boarding as described, but food is not included unless agreed.

9. Photography & Media

  1. SLDTA may record photos/videos of training sessions for:
    • Progress tracking.
    • Social media content.
    • Educational use.
  2. Clients who do not want media use must inform SLDTA in writing beforehand.

10. Legal

  1. All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Kolkata, West Bengal.
  2. SLDTA reserves the right to update the terms at any time.
